Markus Salmela

Markus Salmela is senior director of operations at Novavax AB. Mr. Salmela holds the Operational and strategic responsibility for the departments Manufacturing, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Science and Technology and Manufacturing Science Technology and Tech Transfer. At Novavax AB we manufacture the Matrix-A™ Matrix-V™ Matrix-C™ and Matrix-M™ adjuvants. The function does also work in close collaboration with our external CMO´s.

Mr. Salmela has been within the company since Aug 2022 and brings with him more than 25 years of leadership experience from Manufacturing, Distribution, Operations, Business Development and Lean Production experience in global Life Science Companies.
